The old economy is commodity based, on a shrinking value system. The less there is of something the more monetary value. Thus creating the fear based consumer ethic to buy more, bigger better houses. Take from the poor at all cost and let the riches trickle down. The new paradigm is information based and increases. However; what he leaves out is the fact that once the old fear driven consumer values; Americans will be able to live more simply. Less is more; the less consumption, the more peace will manifest in the world.

Power is available. Bucky Fuller also pointed out in Critical Path the power of one individual for change. Bucky took the title from an old computer term meaning: the most direct path which information can travel.
